Named after the top dog of the Greek gods, beautiful Zeus is the ideal poster mutt for the RSPCA’s fundraising on Cupcake Day. (Those sweet pooches sure take the cake, 11/7). Baking lots of cakes for our friends will allow us to fat shame them into walking our energetic puppies more often for us with the moral reassurance that they have helped the salient guardians of animal welfare across the nation. Perhaps this initiative will help reminds us that money might buy the dog, but only love wags the tail. Time to start cooking! Alan Sexton, North Parramatta 12July2022.
