With a confederation of Middle East nations invested in the realisation of peace with Israel, US President Donald Trump is right to argue that there is no shortage of’ manpower available for policing Gaza without requiring US troops on the ground. The robust comments from Vice Admiral Justin Jones echoing our historic support for the US military is commendable, but completely misplaced in the context of President Trump’s latest edict about US involvement.
