News that the National Party, in close contact with remote Indigenous communities in the far-flung reaches of Australia, are strongly opposing the establishment of the constitutionally embedded Voice to Parliament is to be acclaimed. (Nationals refuse to support the Voice, 29/11). The Voice will surely divide Indigenous communities, whether in sparse remote areas or populous urban groups, as their focus and priorities are very dissimilar.  Alan Sexton, North Parramatta. 22Nov2022.
