In a world where most of our news is bad, my heart leapt for joy at the reporting of former rugby league giant Tim Pickup being safely found. (Footy great found in fine health, 20/2). The sad social deconditioning that accompanies dementia rarely leaves families with cause for celebration. Tim being found in the North Sydney Leagues Club is proof positive that some people truly have rugby league in their blood. Happiest story of the year (so far).
