It may not surprise too many fans of TV’s Goggle Box that the cheeky and loveable, if occasionally irritating, Jad Nehmetallah, would have to buy the restaurant before you would let him in. Setting up his fantastic Misc Restaurant in Parramatta Park, the operating hours appear to have been altered to ensure his evenings are free to maintain his channel surfing. For those keenly waiting for a table at Misc, a quick walk around our beautiful park, taking in the Old Government House and the 1790s Governor’s Dairy, Australia’s oldest building, might stimulate the appetite for the best Parramatta has to offer, both on and off the menu.
