Full marks to journalist Tyson Jackson, demonstrating literary excellence with his use of homonyms to amusingly introduce his story about new lion cubs at the Western Plains Zoo (“Pride of the family set for their debut”, DT, 2/4). Misusing words with multiple meanings is surely the foundation of comedy and Tyson is certainly well practised.
