Warren Brown has captured brilliantly the glum predicament of 2020s life in Australia with his cartoon of a youthful yet decimated Swans supporter robbed entirely of the idols he holds dear. (DT, Pg12, 20/8). Role models make a difference. Australia is crying out for champions to make us proud of our entire way of life. While no one is perfect, those in the public eye must be vigilant to the harm they may do to those observing them with higher expectations than they might know.
