(NSW leaders to decide how the west will be won, 2/3). Asleep at the wheel while peddling the northern and eastern suburbs focused self-interests of the past, long gone Macquarie Street regimes are indeed condemned for lacking the visionary excellence, insights and logistic relevance of those driving this Daily Telegraph campaign to breathe life into our western suburbs. Holding leaders to account and creating a historic record of commitments from which there is no wriggle room, the dedicated journalists of this newspaper are proffering a beacon of hope, which nobly embraces their mission of truth, advocacy and professionalism. Leaders might carefully choose their words and programs as they set expectations in Western Sydney for the next generation. The Telegraph will be keeping tabs.
