What a good brother Prince Charles is, stepping up to pay for the errors of the Queen’s prodigal son, Andrew. (Charles to bail out little brother, 8/3). Although only a loan, the Firm couldn’t afford the bad publicity of Andy scrounging finance from loose-lipped Mayfair bankers. What a shame Andrew must sell his Swiss chalet, a perfect location out of Britain to permanently exile the morally vexed royal. The Queen’s historic namesake, the no-nonsense Elizabeth 1st might have already sorted out this problem in the Tudor fashion in the Tower of London.
