The Abdallah family’s quest to launch February 1, 2021, as “I-Forgive-Day (i4Give)” is momentous. It should go worldwide (Forgive not forget, 21/12). Forgiving a perceived error is magnificent therapy and a goal unto itself. Wanting to be forgiven is often an unfulfilled dream, especially when we insult or hurt many. Who should we ask for forgiveness if our error is an ethical breach? Conversely, since many offend without awareness, forgiveness is often not sought. If the i4Give Day promotes a discussion and a few “sorrys” along the way, our world just got better. Christmas blessings to the Abdallah and Davidson families.
