Thank goodness that Telegraph letter writers and the parenting experts have taken on the Cancer Council for their schoolyard porkies. (Ham on, who has time to make that for lunch? 4/5). The integrity of our immune systems offers the best defence against cancer and is supported with good nutritional protein when growing. A lifetime of pork consumption has done most of us no harm. With a focus on longevity, perhaps the children might offer some reciprocal advice to the Cancer Council’s bureaucrats about cutting down on caffeine intake and not spending too much inactive time at the desk computer, thinking up woke food theories.
