So City of Sydney Mayor Clover Moore wants pets on public transport. (Clover’s pet plan goes off the rails, 19/9). I’ve never met or seen her on a train, so is she making plans that will only inconvenience others ? Might it follow in her flurry of furry beneficence that she would be happy for her constituents to bring dogs to meetings ? Long meetings must guarantee the occasional poo or barking outburst, which might add some excitement to proceedings. What’s next ? Pets voting ? Alan Sexton, Parramatta 20Sep2023.
