There’s little doubt that Channel 10’s Survivor program needs some entertainment value for us couch potatoes. While noisy George Mladenov’s antics created a fan base, his boast of owning only a single pair of undies and general disregard for even pretending to be honest won’t spring-vault him into successful political preselection any time soon. As Covid forces us to watch more TV, it has also allowed many hardworking local members from all parties to embrace the pandemic burden with an Aussie bipartisanship of which we should all be proud.
