The reserve bank has dropped interest to record lows to stimulate the economy. Mortgage holders will wisely pay off more principal and not use their savings to stimulate the economy. Interest cuts didn’t work last time. I wonder why? Alan Sexton, North Parramatta. 3Oct2019.
