The criticism of our governments for poor vaccination rates compared to other countries is misguided and should be resolutely refuted. (Time to give States a shot, 1/4). Our unique geography with it’s easily isolated regions makes harmful viral spread difficult. The downside to this is the logistic problems of delivering a treatment product to these same sparse regions while keeping its temperature below -50C. High vaccination rates overseas might reflect frighteningly high death rates and involuntary immunisation programs. They might be treating everyone available, rather than the small groups picked here. Australia certainly cannot be accused of using its wealth to hog limited supplies while the Third World was left wanting. Essentially, limited sites scattered across our metropolitan area should be single purpose facilities operating 24 hours per day providing vaccination services to all.
