In defence of Labor’s Coogee MP Marjorie O’Neill, the new Allianz Stadium at Moore Park is an excellent investment by the state and every taxpayer should be visiting it as a priority. (Hypocrite’ MP caught on rival turf, 21/9). Labor should be upfront that Michael Daley was wrong in opposing it. They got it wrong as the voters decided. Now get on with it. The ludicrous suggestion that Labor politicians should not use any infrastructure constructed or improved by the Libs over the last 11 years is madness. Chris Minns is not inspiring me with these mandates. Let everybody use and enjoy this amazing stadium, following the very sensible lead of Ms O’Neill, who appears to be angling for the job of NSW sports minister.
