Often the vital interests of average Australians are quite separate from the international agenda of globalists. Those globalists are historically intent on free trade, the shifting of manufacturing jobs to the third world, unfettered immigration, the dilution of patriotic ideals and the imposition of economic hardship under green policies that impact on our cost-of-living pressures. As such, our Prime Minister has not always had to choose which master he would obey, either the globalists or the people who elected him to Canberra. With news that Anthony Albanese is to be awarded the Global Citizens Award by the Atlantic Council during the UN session in September (“Albo in line for honour”, DT, 18/5), it seems the chickens have indeed come home to roost and those to whom he has shamelessly pandered are rewarding him accordingly. Having undermined his reputation with a litany of lopsided lies to the Australian people before the budget, a document which undoubtedly weakens us economically, a quote from US President John F. Kennedy offers insights: “If we are strong, strength speaks for itself. If we are weak, words will be of no help.” At the next election, the public will be dispensing a few “awards” of their own to the PM, a man who has surely abandoned them.
