Oh to be a fly on the wall at the market research agency, tasked with evaluating the public’s attitude to signage around speed cameras (Candid claptrap about cameras, 24/5). After the laughter abated with the money in the bank, the agency should not be too stretched to give the obvious answers. While at it, perhaps they could tell our hapless state government what we think about speed signs, roundabouts, slow drivers, those not indicating and angry horn users. Next, we await a report on why prisoners hate judges, entrepreneurs hate tax, divorcees hate their exes and, most importantly, why politicians who created this farce will hate answering the phone for the next week.
