Just as the world appears to be becoming a very glum place indeed with the Ukraine war thundering on and Sydney’s gangland murders continuing to dominate our headlines, the Telegraph can always be relied on to balance things up with inspiring stories from which hope springs eternal. As a captive audience of the Sunday morning wake-up call of the insomniac neighbors with leaf-blowers, news that Bunnings is recalling a large batch of these anti-social pesky devices is good news for all. I understand that Bunnings also sells excellent rakes, which are cheaper, more effective and have a zero risk of electrical malfunction.
