While not deliberate comedy, your headline (Clap Trap, 15/1) is surely the best story of the week. Avoiding condoms has long been a pro-life catch cry, but not for issues of saving the planet. Concern about latex chemicals having hardening and stabilising properties only apply to the condom. Consistently, one might now expect this group to abandon toothpaste, shavers, fake tans, deodorants, hair products, toxic fingernail polish, industrial jewellery and make-up. The earth will notice the difference for sure. I expect they will all refuse to leave the house with their new looks. (And that should solve the STD problems).
