Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun must be congratulated for cutting to the chase and admitting that the latest group photo of councillors was recycled from 2021 with some excellent photoshopping. Whether it was enmity among members that prevented them meeting for the cameras or the unlikely prospects of there being any smiles in the room, a quick cut and paste on the computer certainly solved the problem in the short term. I suppose three years on council might have unfavourably aged a fair few so bring it on. I guess that Liverpool voters might be keen to do some photoshopping of their own at the next election in September. With Ned showing them how easy it is, I expect they will go all out!
