More contagious with 2.5 million daily cases, many with underlying illness are now becoming prone to exposure and death. With a lower mortality of 1:1000, the higher exposure has resulted in higher daily deaths than Delta. Another error lies in the variable sensitivity to viruses among populations with differing climate and genetic profiles.
