Rabid consumers of all things NRL are well served by the media services which allow their football passion to grow. (Televised trial games a huge win for fans, 9/10). The Daily Telegraph, Channel 9, Fox Sports and Kayo should be encouraged to find even more opportunities to highlight the best game in the world. For entertainment value, I believe the proceedings of the NRL judiciary would also make great TV. As an impetus to avoid censure on and off the field, it could improve discipline. If ICAC can name and shame anyone in public, why should occasional documented thuggery, witnessed by millions on TV, not meet the same standard ?  It would test the old idiom that “any publicity is good publicity.” Alan Sexton, North Parramatta. 11Oct2021.
