One wonders how or why the government could have been surprised that the inflation rate skyrocketed above expectations while Chris Bowen is managing energy policy? (It’s a shocker, 27/11). Erupting power bills to over 37% from last year, the idiocy of this government is leaving a nation ruined in its wake. High inflation is not conducive to helping families save money. Children go to school hungry and much of the domestic discord and breakdown of relationships must have at least partially, a financial trigger. The situation of parents working multiple jobs is not a positive environment for troubled youth to avoid adverse influences at school, potentially worsening the youth crime waves across the nation.
