Oh no! While former superstar Karl Stefanovic’s morning TV career ended in a dog’s breakfast, he is not the only one in the family being muzzled this year. (Karl Stefanovic’s dog ends up on watch list, ST, 13/9). Cancelled Karl is joined in the dog house by his home mutt ‘Chance the Yapper’, after Australia Post flagged him as a danger. Perhaps better titled ‘Chomping Chance’, it seems man’s best friend is adding bite to Karl’s bark. Changing the tone with some puppy love, I guess the good news is that we have all learnt that “dog-lawyers” actually exist, being noble advocates of the law and not an unkind description of their colleagues. I might be barking up the wrong tree, but did the out of court agreement specify who should be taking Chance to that mandatory behavioural training? Maybe I should let sleeping dogs lie on that one!
