With medieval folklore confirming that many across Europe believed the moon was made of cheese, I guess that their exaggerated claims to the naming rights of the world’s cheeses can now be seen in context and considered equally laughable. (EU threat to our great cheeses, 3/2). Post World War II migrants from Europe have enriched our multicultural civilization with a splendid diversity in foods, language, art, dance, costume and heritage. Marked social immersion from our wonderful Asian neighbors has perpetuated and augmented the culinary range in the multiple restaurants and food halls located across our country of limitless choice. Those migrants bringing recipes for feta, parmesan or halloumi had every right to do so and should be regaled.
